Kate Middleton and Prince William are known to be "hands-on" when it comes to raising their kids: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. As much as possible, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge want their kids to experience a normal and simple life.

While the Cambridge couple has been quite busy with royal duties in and out of the United Kingdom, their kids are also busy with their respective childhood years, especially Prince George and Princess Charlotte. As it happens, they have been quite focused on their school duties and responsibilities.

In September, the 4-year-old daughter of Kate and Prince William finally made it to her first "big school." As per reports, the princess has started attending primary school this year.

Together with her brother, Prince George, Princess Charlotte now also attends St. Thomas's Battersea. Her first-day in school was caught on camera as her parents dropped them off just before the classes start.

Based on the clips and photos, it looked like the young princess was very excited. It also seemed that she enjoyed her first term in primary school.

According to Express UK, the school's first term for the current academic year just concluded on December 11. So, this means that Princess Charlotte successfully ended her primary course for this year in St. Thomas's Battersea. This is why royal fans and experts call it as another milestone for the young royal.

While the Duchess of Cambridge will be a lot busier now given that all of the kids are now always at home, Kate Middleton seems to enjoy doing her responsibilities as a royal and as a mother.

In a scoop made by Pop Culture, a similar milestone was also achieved by Princess Charlotte last year ahead of the Christmas season. As it happened, she celebrated her first "nativity play" at Willcocks Nursery School.

It was not revealed if the young royal had a role in the play. Even so, the Cambridge couple was said to attend the event in the nursery school.

After the engagement at the said nursery school, Prince William shared that Kate Middleton and Princess Charlotte also had a bonding moment during the Christmas vacation last year. As per statements, the mother and daughter went to the Royal Opera House and attended a "special performance" of The Nutcracker.

The duke further shared that the young princess, who was dubbed as "Warrior Princess" in her nursery school, has developed an interest over dancing. Accordingly, her attendance at the ballet performance with the duchess became even more significant.
