Prince Andrew has been facing a lot of allegations and criticisms since the details of his affiliations with the infamous Jeffrey Epstein resurfaced. Despite his official announcement of "stepping down" from his royal duties, the reports never stop to put the spotlight toward the Duke of York.

Earlier this week, the royal in question has been slammed again. As it happened, royal correspondent, Angela Mollard called him out and described him as "entitled" and "most pompous."

She revealed that duke had planned a huge celebration for his upcoming 60th birthday. However, it was "kiboshed" after the "major backlash" he received upon breaking his silence over his links with Jeffrey Epstein's case.

According to Daily Express, Prince Andrew's recent "bombshell" interview speaking about his "true" disposition about the controversy became the central point as to why he was slammed by the public and royal experts. Based on statements, he "denied" all the allegations made toward him that he had "sexual contacts" with Virginia Roberts, who have been claiming that she was "ordered" to do it with the duke when she was 17.

While seemingly hoping to get the empathy of the royal fans and the public, things got even worse after the interview. As a result, he officially stepped back from doing his royal duties.

The royal experts continued to note that the "fallout" of the interview was the reason why Queen Elizabeth II called off the huge celebration. Although it was said that the monarch planned it for her son, many are certain that it was Prince Andrew who insisted.

Aside from the details of his upcoming birthday, Angela Mollard also stated that the Duke of York was the one that sort of "sat back" and played golf. His character is very "questionable," she added.

Now that the said celebration is cancelled, he would instead celebrate it with a small private dinner. However, the case will be different for Princess Anne.

It was claimed that the attention will be "shifted" to the Princess Royal. With her 70th birthday approaching as well come the year 2020, the monarchy will certainly plan something big for her. This is not because it's her birthday, but because it is a "must" for the royal family to obtain positive feedback from the public, and having Princess Anne in the center of it will be very fitting.

But, unlike Prince Andrew, the only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip is not fond of attention. So, she will certainly "loathe" it, the royal expert claimed.
