Cara wanted to believe that the intentions of the God Account were pure and good, but she felt betrayed after what happened to her stepfather. In fact, Miles even considered giving up working with the God Account for Cara, but then he decided to continue working with the person behind the account.
Thus, this could create further conflicts between him and Cara. He's still close to the account, and this might not be a good thing for Cara. Miles needs to find a way to learn more about God Account's identity. Once he uncovers the truth, it could probably help him resolve his issues with Cara.
It's also interesting to see what will happen to them in God Friended Me season 2 episode 11, especially now that they're close to finding the truth. The main focus of the series is still the account, but the story has now evolved and explored the personal lives of some characters, including Miles and Cara.
