Electric vehicle giant Tesla is anticipated to deliver the Made In China (MIC) Tesla Model 3 soon, and it appears that it is becoming a normal sightseeing Gigafactory 3 lot packed with hundreds of electric cars. Recent drone footage seems to confirm that Tesla is now producing and shipping MIC Tesla Model 3 steadily out of its massive facility in Shanghai, China. Earlier this month, Electrek reported that MIC Model 3 had been included in the list of approved vehicles by the Chinese government, which means deliveries are anticipated to start any time.

More transport trucks are reportedly seen coming and going Tesla Gigafactory 3 to deliver MIC Tesla Model 3 across China, reports Teslarati. The latest video shared by drone operator Jason Yang on his YouTube channel revealed the busy ground of Gigafactory 3 as Tesla personnel load Model 3 units from the parking lot to transport trucks. Another video shared by a Tesla enthusiast JayinDhanghai showed workers constructing appears like a holding area to accommodate a large number of Tesla Model 3 coming out of the factory.

China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced recently that MIC Model 3 units would get government subsidies. Following the announcement, the electric vehicle maker amps its production and fills the Gigafactory 3 parking lots with Tesla Model 3 units. A few days ago, several Tesla customers noticed that Tesla made several updates on the China-specific MIC Model 3 online configurator.

The electric vehicle maker removed the labels that say that the MIC Model 3 needs further regulatory approval. Additionally, Tesla increased the prices of imported Model 3 units made in China to encourage the market to purchase readily available locally-produced units. The move results in an increased price of Model 3 Performance to around $72,400, while the Model 3 Long Range is now priced around $62,500.

Tesla MIC Model 3 will be sold for approximately $50,000 before government incentives, giving customers around $3,500 savings. The current positioning of the company for the Tesla MIC Model 3 in the country will attract younger customers and encourage them to buy green cars that are made locally, says senior analyst at Shanghai-based consultancy LMC Automotive Alan Kang. In recent months, the electric vehicle sales in China suffered a slump, but the entry of Tesla is viewed as a crucial change catalyst in the largest electric vehicle market in the world.
