With the scandal surrounding Prince Andrew until today, the real ones affected are his children, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie. The two are said to be "deeply distressed" with what their father is going through, while his alleged victim, Virginia Roberts, accused the Duke of York of putting his kids "through hell."

After Prince Andrew stepped down from his royal duties, reportedly incited by Prince Charles and Queen Elizabeth II herself, Virginia Roberts made a public message of support to Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie. She expressed sympathy to the two girls after their own royal duties are under threat due to their father's friendship with the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, per Daily Mail Online.

In a tweet, Virginia Roberts assumed Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are going through hell. Despite what their father allegedly did to her, she didn't wish anyone to experience what they are going through. "I have no qualms with them," she said.

She continued to say that Prince Andrew should have throught about them before he hanged around with convicted pedophiles and "participated in their abuse." The troubled duke has been denying the allegations made against him, primarily sleeping with Virginia Roberts three times when she was young.

He said he had no recollection of meeting her, and he was with his daughter when the time of the incident allegedly happened. He also denied that he knew anything about Jeffrey Epstein's activities.

His ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, also admitted that the scandal engulfing Prince Andrew was hard for their daughters to deal with. "The last six months have been hard on the girls and me," she told Vogue.

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are said to be "deeply distressed" after Prince Andrew was forced to leave his royal duties. Sarah Ferguson, too, is worried about how his resignation would affect the girls' future.

A source told The Daily Beast that what's happening with their dad put Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie in deep distress. However, despite the ruined reputation of their father, the two continue to support him.

The insider continued to say that Prince Andrew wasn't only fighting for his survival when he did the interview for BBC Newsnight with Emily Maitlis, but he was trying to fight for the survival of them all. After he scaled down his public work, it's not yet revealed if it would impact his finances as he is supported by his mother. Her help, too, would never be disclosed.
