When will Kate Middleton and Prince William release their Christmas card? This has been the question among eager fans who have been begging Kensington Palace to show the latest family photo. Last year, the royal couple shared their Christmas card a week before Christmas Day that royal fans are now counting down to its release.

On Twitter, royal fans have been excitedly posting Kate and Prince William's official account for the Christmas card release. Many are aware that it was around this time last year when the Cambridge family shared their Christmas message to the world with an adorable photo that included Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Some fans wonder what will Kate and Prince William's Christmas theme photo would be for this year. In 2018, the family opted for a more relaxed and casual vibe as they had their family photo taken outdoors. In 2017, Kate and Prince William had a studio shoot with their two kids, minus Prince Louis who was not born until April 2018.

Amid the anticipation, royal families from around the world have started sharing their family Christmas cards. The Kings and Queens of Norway, Spain, Denmark and Jordan were the firsts to post their images, per People.

But aside from Kate and Prince William's Christmas cards, royal fans are also curious about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's family souvenir this year. According to a source from the palace, the Sussex royals' Christmas cards are actually still being finalized.

There are speculations that Prince Harry and Meghan could have an unexpected Christmas card theme since it will also feature not just their son, Archie Harrison, but also Meghan's mother Doria Ragland.  Sources told E! News that Prince Harry and Meghan are determined to include the mother-in-law in the photo to highlight the fact that Doria is a huge part of the family and the baby's upbringing.

Prince Harry, Meghan and Archie are currently in the U.S. for their Christmas holiday, which is incidentally the baby's very first Christmas as well. Sources said that the Sussex royals have been in town since Thanksgiving with Doria and some of Meghan's close friends.

It's still unclear when Prince Harry, Meghan and Archie plan to return to London but they will surely miss Queen Elizabeth's Christmas traditional celebration in Sandringham. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex could also be heading to another holiday destination for the New Year, as they did last time.
