Frank Lampard has in his purse £150 million to spend on new hiring for Chelsea and he intends to splurge, supposedly targeting up to four recruits for the January window. The plan has been set in motion following the lifting of the transfer ban imposed on the West London club.

Lampard's talent search will reportedly focus on fresh faces, and headlining his list is midfielder Isco, who the Blues manager will need to lure away from Real Madrid.

The Spain international is said to be made available by the Los Blancos but for a high price of £40 million. According to The Daily Star, Isco is ready to transfer in January and the move will get the green light from Real head coach Zinedine Zidane.

The French manager is selling Isco to gather funds to pay for his own transfer target, identified in the same report as Christian Eriksen of Tottenham.

Also on the Lampard's shortlist are Jadon Sancho, Timo Werner, and Wilfried Zaha. The latter is presently with Crystal Palace but has already expressed his intention to change team, possibly within the Premier League but with a bigger team like Chelsea.

In a report, Metro said Zaha had been wanting to join Arsenal last summer but a deal with the North London club failed to materialize. In the coming weeks, it will be seen if the English will be tempted for a move to Stamford Bridge.

Werner and Sancho will be the last pieces of the puzzle that Lampard intends to complete in his first full season in charge of Chelsea. It is understood is targeted to beef up the Blues frontline, and the club's interest on him was due to his sterling performance with the Red Bull Salzburg in the season.

The 23-year-old German has so far made 25 appearances and already has 23 goals to his name. The striker also counts seven assists, and the stats so far should indicate the impact he would be as part of Chelsea's roster.

Rounding up the Chelsea boss' transfer target is Sancho, who, according to reports, Borussia Dortmund will only let at no less than £100 million. The price is obviously high, but apparently, Lampard will depend on his club's good relationship with Dortmund executives.

Chelsea's Christian Pulisic was also acquired from Dortmund, and partly on this account, Sancho following the American to Stamford in January seemed a snowballing possibility.

Chelsea has already made clear that Lampard has been empowered to make the moves that will increase the club's chance of ending the season as the Top 4 of the Premier League.
