Kate Middleton had been attending the royal family's Christmas celebration at Sandringham since she got married to Prince William in 2011. However, in the first time that she got an invite to celebrate the event with Queen Elizabeth II and the rest of the royals, a royal expert revealed that the Duchess of Cambridge felt terrified.

In the Channel 5 documentary Sandringham: The Queen at Christmas, royal biographer Ingrid Seward said that some of the festive break's royal protocol with Her Majesty "terrified" the newcomer of the family. The royal expert said, via Express, that it was a very difficult thing to do for an outsider. Hence, it couldn't be helped that Kate Middleton was terrified.

At the time, Kate Middleton's concern was not about their being unfriendly or sweet, but she's afraid things might go wrong while she was there. The royal family's Christmas break was celebrated for three days. Each day, there was a staggering amount of outfit changes for all the different festive events.

The Christmas Eve festive party is a black-tie affair. However, the royals must also prepare their clothes for the church on Christmas Day and the Boxing Day shooting party. Royal author Claudia Joseph added that on the first Christmas of Kate Middleton and Prince William as husband and wife, the initial admitted she was nervous because of the constant change of outfit for every occasion.

Anyhow, Kate Middleton has been lauded by the way she dresses. A lot of people have been following the ensemble she is wearing in every event.

Meanwhile, in celebration of the holidays, Kensington Palace unveiled a new candid holiday photo of Prince William, together with his kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Kate Middleton didn't join her family in the snap because she was the one who captured the precious moment in Norfolk earlier this year.

The black-and-white photo featured Prince William kissing Prince Louis on the cheek. Prince Charlotte was behind her little brother, holding his shoulder, while Prince George was comfortable sitting on a chair, looking straightly to his mother's camera. "Merry Christmas! We wish all our followers a very happy and relaxing Christmas Day," the caption read.

It was not the first time that the future queen consort shared her own pictures to all the royal fans. According to Glamour, the palace often gives a glimpse of photos taken by Kate Middleton herself that mark the important milestones of her kids and family. It includes their birthdays and first days of school.

The candid photo's release comes days after the Cambridges' family photo leaks online. In the Christmas snap, Kate Middleton, Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis struck a pose in front of the camera, while on a vintage motorbike and sidecar.
