There's a meme going around online where Trump supporters claim that First Lady Melania Trump has an IQ of 136. Fans of President Donald Trump and his wife have been using this meme to compare Melania to former First Lady Michelle Obama, the wife of ex-President Barack Obama.
The comparison between Melania and Michelle first appeared in a tweet from 2017. In it, the meme alleged that Michelle's IQ is at 95 and she only had a 2.1 GPA, as well as failed the bar four times. In contrast, Melania's IQ not only topped Michelle's but she allegedly has a 3.9 GPA and with a Masters in Mathematics.
Political Flare launched an investigation to the claims two years later and published their findings on their website. The political blog cited from the onset that assessing Melania's life and career aren't reasonable assessments of her intelligence.
The First Lady apparently quit college after one semester to become a model. The writer, Andrea Jefferson, alleged modelling was her life before she met her husband, the future President of the United States, which meant that she could not have possibly earned a Master's degree.
From there, Melania apparently hardly said anything when she's around her husband. Nor does she speak about issues that would hint of her ability to comprehend and assess an idea or thought. There were reports that she spoke six other languages and the fact that she uses shorter words when speaking English could be because it's not her native tongue.
Jefferson also brought up Melania's plagiarism issues from 2016 when she delivered a speech before the Republican National Convention. Her speech had similar texts as Michelle's 2008 Democratic Convention speech. She was again accused of plagiarism for her most recent "Be Best" campaign that had similar texts from an old Obama handout.
Following Jefferson's investigations, critics of the Trumps posted that Melania barely said 500 words in her three years as First Lady. Another Twitter user said that it's not too hard to digress who's more intelligent based on how the two women speak.
Other bashers, on the other hand, posted Melania's photos from her days as a nude model. They pointed out that Melania earned money with her body while Michelle worked hard as a lawyer. Thus, it is up to the people to figure out which woman is more intelligent based on her career choice.
