There was once a period in Prince Charles life when he shunned modern life. The future King of England reportedly had such an aversion to technology in his '60s that he would prefer to send long hand-written messages instead of texts and emails to his staff.

Prince Harry, however, mocked his father over this dislike for technology. According to Daily Express, the Duke of Sussex good-naturedly told his dad that he could get more things done if he used his phone to send a text message.

Ten years on and Prince Charles seems to have finally adapted to the times. He is reportedly part of the royal family's group chat on WhatsApp.

Over the years, royal fans have also speculated on the kind of relationship Prince Charles enjoy with Prince Harry. Some think that Prince Charles and the royal family would be irrelevant if not for his more popular son.

But Prince Charles was extremely supportive of Prince Harry and his then-girlfriend Meghan Markle when they were planning their wedding. He actually stepped up and offered to walk Meghan down the aisle when she ran into problems with her own family and her father, Thomas Markle.

Rumors, however, continue to persist that Prince Harry is not the biological son of Prince Charles. Some royal followers think the Duke of Sussex's real father is James Hewitt, who allegedly had an affair with Princess Diana.

But Prince Charles' bond with Prince Harry and his brother Prince William improved and became closer after they lost their mother. Now that they are adults with families of their own, the Windsor boys have been more open about praising their father and what he is doing for the royal family.

Meanwhile, Prince Charles was the official spokesperson for the royal family when his father, Prince Philip, was recently at the hospital. Speaking to the press, Prince Charles said that his aging father was being looked after very well during his confinement.

While on a visit to Doncaster, Prince Charles also answered that his father is doing alright after a local expressed her concern for Queen Elizabeth's husband. According to Metro, the Prince of Wales apparently remarked in jest that when someone is at a certain age, some things don't work so well anymore.

On Christmas Day, Prince Charles was seen joining and having a serious chat with his embattled younger brother Prince Andrew as they headed to church in Sandringham. The brothers attended the 9:00 a.m. service instead of the 11:00 a.m. service with the rest of the royal family.
