Christmas cards from the royal families are somewhat of a spectacle, eagerly-awaited and highly-anticipated by their followers. This year, Prince Charles and Camilla, as well as Prince William and Kate did not disappointment with their Christmas card releases.
Prince Charles and Camilla were the first among the British royal family to officially release their Christmas card. The image featured the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall as they rolled in style in a gorgeous vintage MG Car.
Royal fans were amused by the photo chosen by the royal pair. It was taken by photographer Ramon Espinosa during their visit to Havana, Cuba early this year.
One fan noted that Prince Charles and Camilla looked like they both had their hands on the steering wheel, or that the other one was holding on to the dashboard so tightly. Another fan said that Prince Charles and Camilla looked so cute together.
In a similar vein, Prince William and Kate Middleton also had a vintage-themed Christmas card. However, it was not officially released on their social media just yet. Instead, it was shared online by someone who actually received the cardwith a photo of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
In the image, Prince William is seen aboard a vintage motorbike with a sidecar where Princess Charlotte is standing, while Kate was to his other side. Prince Louis is in front of his dad while Prince George is smiling at the back. The Cambridge family was all dressed in vintage blue. The whole vibe of the Christmas card looked very relatable and so laidback.
The royals usually send out Christmas cards to the charities and organizations they have been working with for the year. The Cambridge card was shared by Air Commodore Dawn McCafferty CBE.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan have yet to release their Christmas card with a few days left before Christmas Day. According to reports, the Sussex pair have yet to finalize plans for it as they are currently on their six-week holiday break in North America.
Speculations are that Prince Harry and Meghan will likely release a Christmas card to include Doria Ragland, Meghan's mother and Archie Harrison's other grandmother. While it isn't customary for extended families to be included in the Christmas card, sources said that Prince Harry and Meghan would like to feature Doria's significance in helping raise Archie.
