There are allegedly over 270 nude photos of Kate Middleton and Prince William in possession of newspaper picture editors. Of these photos, only 24 have been published and still continue to boost the profits of online adult entertainment sites.
In 2012, reports stated that these photos were being hawked around to publishers for a hefty price. However, no one has bitten the offer for fears over the legal repercussions, which could end up costing more.
Apparently, only the news outlet Closer printed a photo of a fully naked Kate and, as expected, the royals sued the publisher based in France. The said photo was taken by the paparazzi while Prince William and Kate were spending a holiday in the European country.
In 2017, the French courts awarded their verdict to favor the Duchess of Cambridge and ordered the tabloid and its photographers to pay the royals over $119,000 in damages. The editors and CEO of Closer, on the other hand, were asked to pay a fine of $50,000 each.
The palace cited that the published photos were a serious breach of privacy. Hence, Prince William and Kate felt it was important to pursue legal action.
The source, however, remains unclear for those over 200 topless and nude photos of Prince William and Kate. Allegedly, the biggest worry for the Queen back then was that these were taken frame by frame from a video, according to Vogue Italia.
Meanwhile, a famous buddy of Prince William once confessed in a TV interview that he saw the Duke of Cambridge buck naked in school. Eddie Redmayne said that he had a lot of naughty experiences with his school mate Prince William during their time in Eton and that he has seen his friend's privates at least two times during their drunken spree.
Redmayne used to play Rugby matches with Prince William and also detailed that the boys from the other schools often targeted the royal. He said they wanted to tackle him for the bragging rights. He and Prince William now bond over a different thing as they both became first-time dads in 2016.
Royal author Angela Levin revealed in the book "Harry: Conversations With the Prince" that Prince William and Prince Harry had their share of running around naked at their father's house as teenagers. There was a time when the boys dared each other to go full Monty during a party.
This apparently shocked and embarrass Prince Charles. However, Levin said that Prince Charles also confessed to have done the same thing as a teenager.
