It cannot be denied that Melania Trump is a hands-on mom to her one-and-only son, Barron Trump. The First Lady of the United States always comes to his defense. She even considers her child whenever she makes any decisions. With everything she does for her kid, her love for her son truly outweighs everything in this world.
In Kate Bennett's book, Free, Melania: The Unauthorized Biography, she revealed that Melania Trump always prioritized Barron Trump over everything, even if it's politics. She opted to stay at home with her kid, instead of going to Donald Trump's campaign events.
She considered her son when she had to decide about living in the White House and continuing her social life. "Barron soon became Melania's reason for staying off the social radar in New York, then her reason for avoiding her husband's presidential campaign, and ultimately, her reason for not moving into the White House after she became the first lady of the United States," Bennett explained.
When Melania Trump eventually decided to move to D.C., Barron Trump was also her reason why she only accepted light work schedules and retained from trips that would take longer than a day. She wanted to be home with her son when he returned from school and soccer practice.
Evidently, she is a "very hands-on" when it comes to raising Barron Trump. Although he has a nanny, the former model is still the one who looks after him. When he was a baby, she was also the one who fed him and changed his diaper. Despite her busy schedule when he was a kid, she always made time to play with him.
Hence, it was no surprise that Melania Trump got mad when someone used Barron Trump's name when one of the legal scholars testified at the impeachment inquiry hearing of Donald Trump. Business Times recently reported that Stanford Law professor Pamela Karlan mentioned the kid's name in her analogy about the President of the United States.
The mother couldn't help herself but react when Barron Trump's name was dragged into the case. She made a tweet and ranted that a minor child deserved privacy and should be kept out of politics. The FLOTUS also called out Karlan, saying she should be ashamed of her "angry and biased public pandering" by using a child's name. Karlan later apologized.
Melania Trump, along with Donald Trump, also threatened to sue YouTuber James Hunter when he did a video about Barron Trump and autism. Allegedly, the social media star wanted to stop the bullying the presidential son experienced and draw some light on the issue.
Donald and Melania Trump both insisted that Barron Trump didn't fall on the autism spectrum, and Hunter also later apologized. He said he didn't intend to hurt the Trump family, and he only wanted to raise awareness about the "autism epidemic."
