Melania Trump has been known for being mum about her relationship with the President of the United States Donald Trump, but not when her son gets involved. The First Lady of the United States defended her only child, Barron Trump, when one of the legal scholars testifying at the impeachment inquiry hearing of her husband used the kid's name in her analogy.
Pamela Karlan, a Stanford Law professor and impeachment witness for House Democrats, mentioned Barron Trump in her testimony to justify her analogy about the difference between the king and the president. "The Constitution says there can be no titles of nobility, so while the President can name his son Barron, he can't make him a baron," she said, via CNN.
Melania Trump couldn't help herself but react upon the mention of her child's name. "A minor child deserves privacy and should be kept out of politics," she tweeted. She then called out Pamela Karlan and insisted that she should be ashamed of her "angry and biased public pandering," using a child in doing so.
Pamela Karlan later apologized for her remark, admitting that what he said about Donald Trump's son was wrong. However, she wished that the President would also say sorry for all the wrong things he did.
It was the first time that Melania Trump got herself publicly involved in the ongoing impeachment inquiry about her husband. But despite the former fashion model's silence about politics and her life with Donald Trump, CNN reporter Kate Bennett revealed her secrets in his new unauthorized biography Free, Melania. The book's title seemed to be a nod to the social media slogan, "Free Melania."
According to Celebrity Insider, Kate Bennett revealed that Melania and Donald Trump's relationship is colder than what people could think of. Aside from not sleeping together, they allegedly have separate rooms on different floors.
Melania reportedly has her own apartment within the grounds of the White House. She is said to be occupying the room that once belonged to Marian Robinson, former First Lady Michelle Obama's mother, who used to live in the palace when Barack Obama was still the president of the U.S. to look after Malia and Sasha Obama.
Kate Bennett confirmed that Melania Trump carved out her own space, and several sources also verified that they don't share the same bedroom. The 49-year-old personality likes to have her own large, private space in one of the suite rooms that on a different floor than Donald Trump's.
