Rumors about Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston rekindling romance continues and there is no sign that it will die down anytime soon. This prompted many to bring up the ex-couple past relationship.

Many are happy that Pitt and Aniston are friends again. However, some are skeptic about the rumored reconciliation. Some brought back to light Jen's past interview wherein the Friends actress hinted that Brad is not the love of her life.

In her 2003 W Magazine interview, The Morning Show star was asked if she already found the love of her life. Many are expecting that she would say it is her then-husband, Brad. Aniston, however, gave a cryptic response that nobody is expecting.

"Is he the love of my life? I think you're always sort of wondering, 'are you the love of my life?' I mean, I don't know, I've never been someone who says, 'he's the love of my life,'" she said.

Aniston, however, said Pitt is the "big love" in her life. She explained that they share something special amid the chaos. She said in wonderful yet difficult entertainment industry, it is comforting to have someone who knows her well.

Jen, at the time, did not say who could be the "love of her life" and the interviewer did press on the subject. Before she started dating Brad, Jen was linked to Counting Crows frontman Adam Duritz, Tate Donovan, and Paul Rudd.

Two years later, Jen and Brad announced their divorce. It was partly blamed on the fact that they don't have a child and to Brad's Mr. & Mrs. Smith co-star Angelina Jolie.

The Tomb Raider actress admitted her romance with Pitt in January 2006. After almost a decade together, the couple tied the knot in 2014. However, their marriage also failed. In September 2016, Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt and the court finalized their divorce in April.

There have been reports that the Ad Astra actor had apologized to Jen for dating Angelina while they were still married. The tabloid claimed that the Murder Mystery actress was in tears during their conversation. Now, both the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star and Aniston are single and rumors have it that they are back in each other's arms.

It was reported that the two are spending more time together lately and get flirtatious at times but their relationship remains "purely platonic." The Troy actor attended the Friends cast holiday party at Jen's home in Bel-Air, California recently. He was also present at his former wife's 50th birthday party in February.
