The President's most favorite daughter greeted her brother despite the news of rivalry. On Instagram, the businesswoman honored the birthday celebrant by posting a throwback photo of them, hugging each other.
In the snap, Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr were with Eric Trump. The three were still kids in the photo and hugging and giggling with each other. "Happy Birthday to the best big brother!
I love you very much," she captioned the snap.
This post came after news emerged in September that the two were in a cold war. Atlantic earlier reported that the siblings were competing with each other for the top spot of the Trump dynasty.
Although Ivanka Trump is known for being the POTUS's most favorite, Donald Trump Jr is now an essential part of his reelection campaign. Hence, her position as the "golden child" is now threatened.
McKay Coppins wrote that Ivanka Trump was always poised as the most prominent figure in the Trump dynasty, including her father's political career. She was allegedly groomed by Donald Trump to lead the family empire. She is the assistant of the president, while her husband, Jared Kushner, is the senior adviser. However, Donald Trump reportedly got tired of their "incessant lobbying."

Despite that, Donald Trump Jr's prominence in the MAGA crowd grows, while Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump's power diminishes. The rivalry between the two siblings then intensifies. They even accused each other of planting stories in the press.
Now, it looks like their roles in the dynasty have switched. Donald Trump Jr was the one who introduced his father at his reelection rally in June, while Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner were only sitting in the audience. His girlfriend, former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle, even worked as the senior adviser for her future father-in-law's reelection campaign.
