Real Madrid will want to get Paul Pogba so bad that the Spanish giants are ready to put four superstars on the table and ready for the picking by Manchester United. If the Red Devils are in agreement, they can pick from the pool that consists of Gareth Bale, Isco, Luka Modric, and Toni Kroos.

Real boss Zinedine Zidane is said to be willing to give up one of these Bernabeu superstars to get his hands on Pogba, who has been largely inactive for Old Trafford since September last year. The World Cup winner is believed ready to exit from United, and his preferred destination is Madrid.

It is unclear if the United hierarchy will agree on a deal but according to Metro, Ed Woodward, the club's executive vice-chairman, is more inclined to sell the French midfielder and get cash payment instead, to the tune of £160 million.

For his part, United team manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already made clear that Pogba moving out this January is out of the question. But an offer that would boost his team's chances of improving its standing in the season will not be ignored as well.

If an offer comes up and it will be to United's benefits, it is likely that United will sit down for serious discussions on Pogba, how has been long-rumored to be working on his exit from Old Trafford.

Per the same report, Real has been looking to land Pogba in the last three transfer windows, and Zidane is seen to make the same move before the deadline ends this January.

Zidane letting Solskjaer have a pick from Real's stable of stars, suggested the French head coach wants to follow through on the deal that has been up in the air for some time. But it remains to be seen if United will take the bite this time.

In recent days, it has been reported that Kroos will be packaged with a cash payment for Pogba if United will finally relent. The German was previously targeted by United, so there is a chance that the club's interest on the midfielder will be rekindled as he is now readily available.

Modric, too, is a tempting proposition for Solskjaer as the Croatian will serve as the quick answer to United's goal-scoring needs. The Norwegian has been clear on his intent to hire prolific scorers when they become available, and Modric fits the requirements.

However, Bale, while certainly a prized acquisition, might be ruled out by United executives, the Mirror said, adding the Welshman's high salary could prove an immediate turnoff for the English club.

Currently, Bale receives an estimated weekly pay of £600,000 from Real, a hefty cost that United might not be ready to absorb and lose Pogba at the same time.
