Red Velvet's Seulgi committed an act that many Koreans hate and that is being late in an appointment. But, instead of being bashed by netizens, Seulgi received praise.

The K-pop singer is the new face of the beauty brand L'OCCITANE Korea. For the on-going campaign of the brand, the Red Velvet lead vocalist and main dancer is endorsing the shea butter hand cream.

She attended the product event on Tuesday but she came late. Seulgi arrived at the event in an emerald green maxi-dress and made an apologetic entrance by bowing to the people who waiting for her. Instead of receiving backlash for being late, many couldn't help but find her apologetic gesture adorable.

"She really does look sorry lol," one commented on social media. "It's nice to see someone with that attitude," another wrote.

Another fan noted that with Seulgi's simple gesture of bowing and apologizing for being late, she gained the respect of many people. Others also called on other idols to follow Seulgi's attitude of being humble and considerate.

Aside from L'OCCITANE Korea, Seulgi also joined Park Bo Gum as Coca-Cola Korea's Ambassadors for its 2020 New Year Campaign, titled Little Big Moments. The two will appear together in a new ad that is expected to drop later this month.

According to Seulgi, the campaign ad has a year-end vibe and it was filmed while she and Bo Gum were having a party with friends. The female idol said it was so cold when they film the advert but she enjoyed working with the brand's longtime model because Park Bo Gum is kind.

Coca-Cola, previously, revealed why Seulgi was chosen as Bo Gum's campaign partner. A rep of the global brand company said it was because the 25-year-old singer is always showered with love from her fans due to her positive energy. Red Velvet fans have called Seulgi "teddy bear" and "Bear Seulgi" because of her pure charm and chic looks.

Seulgi, along with her Red Velvet bandmates Irene, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri, recently, dropped their latest single, "Psycho." The track is the lead single on the final part in The ReVe Festival trilogy.

The ReVe Festival: Finale album was released on Dec. 23. The group is, currently, promoting the trilogy with their third tour, titled La Rouge. It kicked off in Seoul, South Korea in late November.

Red Velvet will resume touring on Jan. 11 with the scheduled performances in four cities of Japan. However, only four members could join the tour as Wendy is still recovering from the serious injuries that she sustained when she fell off the stage during the group's rehearsal for 2019 SBS Gayo Gayo Daejun.
