Red Velvet Irene has, finally, opened her own Instagram account. However, it immediately encountered a problem when IG flagged the account due to a large number of follower requests in a short amount of time.
Irene's name has been trending worldwide since she posted her first clip on her new IG account. The Red Velvet leader joined IG on Wednesday night under the name @renebaebae. Her first post was a cute clip of her in shadow while hopping around.
At the moment, fans can't access Irene's account after Instagram flagged it. According to Red Velvet fans, also called as the ReVeluvs, this also happened to Irene's bandmate Seulgi when she opened her personal account in June. Fans are hoping the issue will be resolved soon so they will be blessed by Red Velvet Irene ethereal visual every day.
So far, Irene, Joy, Yeri, and Seulgi have their own IG account. This leaves Wendy as the only member who doesn't have her personal page. Fans are expecting that the Red Velvet Wendy will join IG soon.
Red Velvet made a comeback last month with their seventh EP, The ReVe Festival: Day 2, and its lead track "Umpah Umpah." The album is the second in the trilogy that the group is planning to complete this year.
The first part, The ReVe Festival: Day 1, dropped in June along with its lead single "Zimzalabim." The final album in the trilogy, The ReVe Festival: Finale, is expected to be released later this year.
Meanwhile, the five members of Red Velvet group have finally found time to relax after their busy schedule in the past few months. The group is, currently, enjoying their time in Switzerland.
It can be recalled that SM Entertainment announced, earlier this year, that the group had been named as tourism ambassadors for Switzerland. According to SM, the members have been invited to Switzerland to enjoy all that the country has to offer. The official Twitter account for Switzerland Tourism has shared photos of Red Velvet to give fans a glimpse of the group's time in their country.
