The US computer tech company Dell recently showed off several new concept devices at this year's CES. Earlier, we saw the Concept UFO, which resembles more like the Nintendo Switch. Another interesting concept devices from the company are the Concept Duet and Concept Ori.

Dell Concept Duet

The Concept Duet has a familiar design similar to what we saw in the upcoming Microsoft Surface Neo. Of course, the Dell Concept Duet is just a concept product, which is something that might not release in the market. The device shares some of the look of the Dell XPS 13 2 in 1 externally.

However, on the inside, the company replaced the keyboard and the touchpad with a second screen. Both screens feature the same size and resolution with a 13.4-inch FHD. The Dell Concept Duet is capable of various multi-tasking abilities. Its capabilities include taking notes on the other display and video conferencing on the other. The concept device also comes with a stylus.

The Dell Concept Duet is a nifty ebook reader with each panel showing different pages. For users who prefer using a keyboard, a keyboard accessory can be placed on top of the touchscreen at the bottom. It is worth noting that the Dell Concept Duet is much heavier than the average laptop.

Dell Concept Ori

The Dell Concept Ori is the more exciting of the two concepts because these days, foldables are a hot topic. The Concept Ori is a 13-inch QHD+ foldable tablet that folds into half like some kind of a book. Since there is no remarkable crease, it is easy on the eyes and not too distracting to look at.

Dell Concept Ori features various capabilities like multi-tasking functions. Sadly, Dell did not reveal more about its specs. Also, it seems that it does not come with a keyboard attachment, which, according to Android Authority, makes the design a little less impractical. But, the company might come up with a keyboard accessory in the event that Dell Concept Ori becomes more than just a concept.

Dell is not talking about software or planning to introduce either concept devices to the market. There is a chance that Dell might not release these concepts to the consumers, but if ever it does, it would make some alterations to make the devices more practical for the consumers.

For now, both Dell Concept Ori and Dell Concept Duet remain as concepts. But, who knows, we might see both devices in the not so far future.
