US electric vehicle maker Tesla has a remarkable 2019 and a promising 2020 as it ended the last year with a strong finish. Tesla introduced the world to electric luxury vehicles that are incredibly fast courtesy of its instant torque that its powerful electric motors could offer. To determine which among the Tesla vehicles is the fastest, Autotrader UK recently conducted a speed test between Tesla Model S, Tesla Model X, and Tesla Model 3.

Although Tesla vehicles can blow off the doors of its rivals' lineup in terms of speed, choosing the winner between Tesla Model S, Model X, and Model 3 is tougher than it may sound. In theory and on the tarmac, however, it appears that the Tesla Model 3 takes the crown from its siblings when it comes to speed. At the end of the first race, the standard Tesla Model 3 variant seems pipped by the Model X.

The first race gave a fairly anticipated result with the Tesla Model S P100D running away from the lineup. Tesla Model 3 and Tesla Model X remain relatively close to each other, but it was the crossover that managed to stay ahead. It would be interesting to see the race again, but this time with the Tesla Model 3 sporting the $2000 Acceleration Boost upgrade that the dual-motor Long Range Model 3 could have.

The Acceleration Boost is an over the air upgrade that enables the Model 3 to pull the 0-100 km/h time from 4.4 seconds to 3.9 seconds. In the second race, the Tesla Model 3 performance lines up along with its larger siblings to show the Model S, who is the real boss. Although the Model 3 let the Model X eat some dust in the second race, the Model S proved once again that it is the big dog in Tesla's lineup, achieving another convincing victory. The recent test on all Tesla vehicles makes things more exciting.

Usually, it is the more powerful vehicle that wins the race. Still, based on the video shared by Autotrader UK, you can definitely tell if the powerful Model 3 could beat the Tesla Model S P100D. In the near future, we expect to see the Tesla Model Y and the Tesla Cybertruck pickup joining the race. Will the newcomers beat the Tesla Model S when it comes to speed?

Maybe it will be the job that Tesla Roadster has to accomplish if ever it actually launches. But, it would take a while before we could all of these Tesla vehicles, including the Model Y, Roadster, and Cybertruck, to be in this kind of race.
