Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are, reportedly, threatening to give a tell-all TV interview in the United States to get their way at the royal summit. There are reports that the Duchess of Sussex's PR team is now working with major foreign networks and the queen of talks herself, Oprah Winfrey.

According to The Sun, the Sussexes could use the TV interview to craft a better deal at the Sandringham talks with Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, and Prince William over their plans to step down as senior members of the royal family. A source said that the couple already reached out to all the major U.S. TV networks to check all the possibilities of a sit-down "warts-and-all interview."

"Perhaps Harry and Meghan will use this as a negotiating tactic as there is no way the royals want their dirty laundry out in the open," the insider added. If they agree not to talk, there are claims that they may get more money out of it.

Allegedly, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry wanted to tell their side of the story with all the issues surrounding them. As the Duchess of Sussex felt she had been silent for a long while, she would no longer allow being muted.

The tipster continued to say that the royal couple felt like the royals had been racist and sexist. Hence, the former Suits star's people are now trying to find other opportunities to air her side.

Meghan Markle's team is, reportedly, in contact with ABC, NBC, CBS, and celebrity talk show hosts, like Oprah. The media mogul was a guest at their wedding in 2018. She is even said to be a close friend of Prince William and his wife, and her mother, Doria Ragland, was even seen leaving her house before.

There are even rumors that Oprah advised Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with their decision to step down from their royal duties. However, CNN noted that the American executive already denied the claim and insisted that she had nothing to do with their plan.

Indeed, Oprah has been friends with the pair. Aside from attending their wedding, she also partnered with Prince Harry for a series about mental health. But regarding their life choices, she cleared that she has nothing to do with it.

She told People that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry don't need her help to figure out what's best for them. The only thing she has to do for them is to support whatever decision they make for their family.
