According to CarterMatt, the possible return date of God Friended Me season 2 episode 13 will be on Sunday, Feb. 16. As for what viewers can expect in this episode, the series will still focus more on the God Account and the person behind it.
Furthermore, God Friended Me season 2 episode 13 will also continue following Miles and Cara's relationship. These two have been through a lot already, and the God Account continues to test them as well. Miles and Cara are also the foundation of almost everything and their journey really matters.
Meanwhile, when God Friended Me season 2 episode 13 returns, it would be part of the lineup change. The series is still airing before NCIS: Los Angeles, but these two shows will be followed up by NCIS: New Orleans in its new timeslot.
In another related report, Carl Lumbly appeared as a guest star in the recently released episode of God Friended Me. The actor played the role of Alphonse; the man who owns the insurance company from which all of the friend suggestions of Miles are coming.
Miles' father saved Alphonse in Vietnam and the latter is back in town to attend Arthur and Trish's nuptials. Miles believed Al is the man behind the God Account, and other clues are pointing he's the owner as he knows Simon Hayes and Henry Chase.
In episode 12, Al told Miles, Rakesh, and Joy that insurance is his day job, but his true passion is technology. He then revealed that he's a silent investor to several startups, including the first company of Simon and Henry. Al is hoping the two would reconcile, but believe it takes "something extraordinary" to make that happen.
As for what else happened in this episode, the God Account made a surprising move again; Miles received him the name of Trish's daughter on the eve of Arthur and Trish's wedding. Also, it looks like Cara is willing to work with Miles again -- likely because she also wants to know who's the person running the account.
