Tesla Model Y is rumored to begin delivery a few days from now. But, ahead of the unannounced delivery, a Tesla Model 3 owner got the rare opportunity to see its interior. Thanks to a Tesla Supercharging station, the Model 3 owner shares his experience being inside the unreleased electric crossover vehicle.

On his Twitter account, as reported by Teslarati, Michael Hughes reveals that he saw the Tesla Model Y at a charging station in Sam Luis Obispo in California. The Tesla employee driving the Model Y allowed him to explore the vehicle, Hughes shares. He was able to sit in the front and back passenger seats, he reveals.

Hughes also mentions that the Tesla Model Y has an amazing seating and storage space. The Tesla employee asked him not to take pictures. However, his experience is enough to allow him to compare and contrast Model Y and Model 3.

Based on Hughes' observations, the front of the crossover vehicle shares some similarities with the Model 3. The back part is definitely different, the Tesla Model 3 owner says. Additionally, the glass roof of the upcoming compact from Tesla has no crossbeam.

In other words, it offers an unobstructed and wide view. The Tesla Model owner also notes that the Model Y offers more room than the Model 3. Additionally, the rear seat of the compact electric vehicle can comfortably seat three adult passengers, Hughes reveals.

The speakers of the Model Y were moved perhaps to allow more side storage, Hughes observes. Moreover, there is a button that allows the seats of the vehicle to fold, he notes. Interestingly, the Tesla Model Y that Hughes saw does not have a third-row seat.

But, there is a space that perhaps serves for the optional design. Hughes also shares that the Tesla Model Y would be in the John Leno Show soon. Several sites are reporting about the Tesla Model Y lately. Earlier in January, the CARB certification of the vehicle was leaked online.

It triggered speculations that the crossover vehicle might arrive in February. Another indicator that the vehicle is coming sooner is that the Tesla Model Y is now listed under Tesla in the NHTSA. While these are not official confirmations, these could mean that the company is preparing for the delivery of the vehicle.

On Twitter, a Tesla enthusiast claims that A Tesla employee revealed that the Model Y would start delivery in a couple of weeks. If the claims pan out, it appears that Tesla is earlier than the initial Autumn delivery schedule.
