According to the site, there are several factors that must be considered for a vehicle to be classified as a direct competitor. The site also claims that the GMC Hummer is directly competing with the Rivian R1T pickup truck or the Rivian R1S SUV.
One of the major factors to consider is the price, says the site, which determines the competition. The Rivian R1T pickup truck retails at $69,000 while the Tesla Cybertruck retails at $39,000. Although no information about the price of the GMC all-electric Hummer is available yet, the site predicts that it is going to retail a lot higher than the Cybertruck, which makes it a competitor of the R1T.
