Grey's Anatomy season 16 episode 12 will be airing on ABC within a few weeks, with the title "The Last Supper." This episode will feature an uncomfortable situation and a relationship conflict, with some of the characters making an important decision when it comes to the people they truly care about.
In Grey's Anatomy season 16 episode 12, Jackson invited his new girlfriend Vic but this only caused an uncomfortable situation. He invited Vic as he thought it was Catherine and Richard's anniversary celebration, only to find out the dinner was called for a different reason.
Jack and Vic's relationship has just started. So, it feels like their romance is underdeveloped. But, although she's his "new girlfriend," their relationship has been going on throughout the season. Also, it looks like there's a greater emotional backbone to his previous pairings, Maggie and April.
As for what else is coming on Grey's Anatomy season 16 episode 12, Levi and Nico went on a trip to visit an ailing family member. Meanwhile, Alex Karev wasn't mentioned here, and the series is likely taking some time before revealing what really happened to Justin Chambers' character.
Alex's departure wasn't announced weeks after his last episode aired, so it's still unclear how the series will handle his exit long-term. Some are hoping to find out what happened to him, but it looks like the series will not address that matter anytime soon.
In a report via People Magazine, some series' actors also shared their thoughts about Chambers' exit. Jake Borelli, who plays Levi, said Alex Karev has been a "massive part" of the series, so it's now interesting to see how the hospital would be without that force.
Jason George, who plays Ben on both the series and spin-off Station 19, said that Chambers is the first person to leave Grey's Anatomy and Alex won't be the last. Considering the series is now in its 16th season, George said they have to "solute" that.
ABC confirmed earlier this month that Chambers is leaving the series. The actor has been an original cast member and part of the hit medical for 16 seasons. His departure wasn't announced immediately, but his final episode aired on Nov. 14, 2019.
Grey's Anatomy season 16 episode 12 is set to arrive on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2020. New episodes of the series can also be watched the following day on ABC.com, the ABC app or Hulu.
