Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have been married for 11 years now but rumors that the couple is heading to splitsville have never stopped. In what seems to be an attempt to save face on its past false reports, a tabloid is now claiming that DeGeneres and de Rossi have saved their marriage by living separately.

According to the Globe, the couple has managed to reignite the spark in their marriage after years of some alleged marital issues. The outlet credited the changes in the couple's relationship to living separately for a while.

"They've made a pact to sleep in the same house, in the same bed," the source of the site noted.

The famous couple is, reportedly, now in sync after they decided to stop the jealousy and bickering. Instead, the pair spend more date nights and weekend retreats together.

Gossip Cop, however, debunked such claims. The outlet pointed out that the Globe is just back pedaling after publishing false reports about Ellen and Portia in the past.

The site maintained that the couple's marriage remains strong since their wedding and it doesn't need any saving. In fact, the couple celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary back in August and DeGeneres even posted on Instagram a loving tribute to de Rossi.

The Scandal alum, on the other hand, constantly shared photos of her and DeGeneres on her social media accounts. The most recent post she made featured the Finding Dory star hugging her from the back.

Gossip Cop also mentioned some of the inaccurate reports the Globe made in the past about the 61-year-old TV host and her wife. In July 2018, it claimed DeGeneres and de Rossi were divorcing following a disagreement over adopting a baby.

A few months ago, an almost similar story emerged but this time around, it involved a baby gorilla. The tabloid claimed DeGeneres and de Rossi were fighting over adopting a baby gorilla.

According to Globe, DeGeneres is driving Portia crazy because of her obsession with gorillas. The site claimed de Rossi doesn't share the same love that Ellen has been showing to the primates.

The rumor has been dismissed as de Rossi showed in several occasions that she is equally passionate as her wife when it comes to taking care of the critically endangered animals. The couple has been successfully hosted charity events that aimed to raise money to fund the DeGeneres Campus for the endangered gorillas in Africa.

In late 2018, the outlet also made an outlandish claim that the award-winning TV host undergone a $1 million worth of plastic surgery so make sure that de Rossi won't leave her. This claim had been debunked too.
