The next person in line to the throne, Prince Charles, was reportedly raging over Prince Harry upon his, and Meghan Markle's, announcement that they will no longer be senior royals.

In the initial statement released through the Sussex couple's official Instagram account, they shared that they want to be "financially independent" while representing Queen Elizabeth II despite their desires to become "non-working royals."

The statement shocked a lot of people. Aside from the fact that they just got back from their six-week break from royal duties, reports also alleged that the announcement was not made known first to some members of the Royal Family, including the Heir Apparent. Accordingly, this is what the sources were looking at as to why Prince Charles felt "hurt" and angry toward his youngest son.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry did not reportedly "consult" the rest of the family about their wants and plans in terms of their future in the monarchy. While the Palace immediately released a statement about their "bombshell" announcement, the depiction of the statement being "at an early stage" and "complicated" seemingly confirmed that it also surprised everyone, including especially the senior members like Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles.

It is worth noting, however, that the "Megxit" deal has already come to its final conclusion prompting the Duke of Sussex's return to his family in Canada earlier this week. Although there are still a few details that need polishing, it is already settled that they will no longer be senior royals.

The deal was also revealed to include the non-usage of their HRH titles, as well as the stripping off of Prince Harry's military titles. It was also stated that he, along with Meghan Markle, will repay the amount of $3 million to the taxpayers for the refurbishment of the Frogmore Cottage.

As per Express UK, the talks of the deals and agreements included Prince Charles and Prince William in the process. As it happened, there was a quick "family discussion" in Sandringham earlier this week before releasing the details of the Megxit deal.

It seemingly appears that everyone in the family is already settled with the outcome of the discussions. So, the fury and rage that was reported about the Prince of Wales largely confirmed that it was only about the abrupt move made by his son and daughter-in-law upon their return to the country.
