Prince William and Prince Harry were very close brothers. With the shocking death of their mother, Princess Diana in 1997, reports have been claiming that the royal siblings became even closer as they grew up supporting each other.
Although today, the two royals are now living in "different paths," as what the Duke of Sussex revealed in his documentary interview, royal commentators and experts noted that there is still one thing that unites them against their father, Prince Charles. As stated, it is about the Heir Apparent's second wife, Duchess Camilla.
According to Express UK, Prince William and Prince Harry have a very "complex" relationship with their father. It was suggested that things started to fall apart between the father and his two sons after the Princess of Wales' death.
The reason being is that Prince Charles was reportedly "focused" on his problems that he likely forgot about his two sons, who were (and are still) suffering from the loss of their mother. His "own problems" were revealed to be how the public would accept his new wife, Camilla Parker-Bowles, given that his affair with her is one of the reasons behind the fallout of his marriage with Princess Diana.
Even so, royal commentators noted that the Prince of Wales has been "trying to win" his sons back. But, both of the young princes never listened to their father. Also, Prince William and Prince Harry did not reportedly enjoy an "easy relationship" with Duchess Camilla.
The sources further revealed that the now-Duchess of Cornwall has stayed in a "faultless" situation. As it appears, she never took the position of being a "stepmother" to Prince Charles' sons.
However, despite the efforts and attempts of getting close with both of the dukes, the relationship between the two parties remained "complicated" and "complex."
Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla married in 2005. The two were, reportedly, spotted in 1999, confirming that they were pushing through the relationship that was, reportedly, ongoing since the Heir Apparent's marriage with the late Princess of Wales.
It was claimed by royal sources then that the two royals tied the knot only six years after their first public appearance because Prince William, Prince Harry, and Queen Elizabeth II did not approve of the relationship. While the Duke of Cambridge's blessing was said to matter the most, it was the Duke of Sussex who was much more affected as per claims.
