Legacies season 2 episode 10 aired last Thursday night on The CW, with the title "This Is Why We Don't Entrust Plans to Muppet Babies." The episode sees the witches celebrating Coven Day at the Salvatore School, but a monster suddenly showed up and brought chaos among then covens.
The monster in Legacies season 2 episode 10 is based on Arabian mythology -- the one that stokes people's insecurities and feeds on the discord that arises. This monster was released from Malivore by Necromancer to gather the school's mora miserium.
The Necromancer knew this object was enough to make him powerful, so he released this monster at the school, with Alyssa Chang being the first target. She is a new character who arrived this season, and if you didn't like her, the episode gave viewers more reasons to dislike her.
The monster also targeted Hope, and things wouldn't be easy from here. The school is celebrating Coven Day, and while she's trying to the witches meditate, the monster whispers in everybody's ear -- making the celebration a complete disaster.
Wade is the only one who can see the monster because he's a fairy, so he went to Landon and told him what this creature could be. Landon realized something was wrong, while Hope is trying to find a solution. But, she realized something's wrong with her and Lizzie as they acted harshly to what anyone else says.
The monster was able to steal the mora miserium in Legacies season 2 episode 10, but Hope, Landon, and the Saltzman twins tried to find a way on how to get it back. Later on, Landon realized he, too, is infected by the monster, and Wade was the one keeping him immune.
Landon believes that Wade is the only person who can defeat the monster. However, everyone needs to believe in him as well, so he can be strong enough to become a full fairy. But it's not that easy for him as the people doubted him. And to prove he does believe in him, Landon fights the monster.
The sacrifice of Landon in Legacies season 2 episode 10 was enough for Wade. Eventually, he became a full-fledged fairy and was able to defeat the monster. The monster dropped the mora miserium as it disappears, and Hope was able to catch it in time.
