Black Lightning season 3 episode 12 is arriving on The CW next week, with the title "The Book of Markovia: Chapter Three." This episode proved to be an eventful one, with Jefferson and Anissa joining forces for a particular mission. It will also bring a lot of drama, with Lynn facing personal issues.

In Black Lightning season 3 episode 12, Jefferson and Anissa will be working with the ASA. The two join forces as they have a goal that needs to be achieved -- helping one of their own. Jefferson and Anissa need to do whatever they can to complete their mission, but they'll be facing challenges along the way.

Black Lightning season 3 episode 12 also sees Lynn still battling her demons. The demons have been plaguing the Pierce family, with Lynn continuously struggling with her addiction problem. This has been one of the elements of her story this season, but things get more complicated now she's been kidnapped by the Markovians.

The question now is: can Lynn find a way to who she was once? Her personal battle with her demons has played a huge part in her current situation and changed her in a significant want. Thus, viewers should be prepared as her story in the upcoming episode will likely be an emotional one.

Meanwhile, episode 11 showed how Jefferson is as a dad. While he's known as Black Lightning, he's hasn't neglected his role as a father. The previous episode saw the character having a conversation with Brandon, the newest friend of his daughter, Jennifer.

Jefferson met Brandon for the first time and told him to stay away from Jennifer. But, his daughter tried to tell him that they were just friends. The episode showed that although Jefferson has a Black Lightning persona, he is still a father to his family. It also showed how protective he is when it comes to his daughter meeting new "friends."

In another report, the long-term future of the series remains uncertain as of the moment, though many were hoping the story would continue for a few more seasons. The good news is that Black Lightning is now part of the Arrowverse, which opens doors to more stories.

Black Lightning season 3 episode 12 airs on Monday, Feb. 3, on The CW. The episode is directed by Bille Woodruff and written by Lynelle White and Adam Giaudrone.
