BTS made a lot of ARMYs proud after they performed at the 2020 Grammys on Jan. 26 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Just like their fans, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook were also very happy and excited to be given the opportunity to perform at the annual ceremony.

So after their performance, BTS went back to their hotel room to celebrate with their fans on Vlive. There, the boys shared their experience backstage and also talked about the foreign artists that they met.

Since BTS already met DJ Khaled back in 2018, J-Hope said he felt at ease when seeing the 44-year-old American DJ, record executive, songwriter, record producer, and media personality at the 2020 Grammys. “I feel like we’ve become friends with DJ Khaled. I saw his back and I felt comfort,” he said.

But then Jimin recalled one incident with DJ Khaled that made him really embarrassed. The BTS star shared his awkward moment with the DJ.

“We met Khaled today. I was alone when I saw him last time. And today, I came last after you guys,” Jimin said. He then shared that DJ Khaled said “Yo!” to him, but he didn’t know how to react. Jimin revealed that he just said “Yes” and left. This story burst the rest of the BTS boys into laughter.

“Why would you say ‘Yes’ to ‘Yo’?” a very disappointed Jin asked. “Are you doing a spelling game?” RM wondered.

Jimin added that he and DJ Khaled were happy to see each other because they have already met before. This made the “Yo!” and “Yes” moment even funnier because they’re not strangers anymore and should have exchanged better or longer words for that matter.

“He seemed happy to see us,” Jin said. “I was too,” Jimin shared. RM then pointed out that DJ Khaled even said “good luck” to them.

J-Hope added that they have made quite a few friends at the 2020 Grammys. But Jimin couldn’t get over his embarrassing moment with DJ Khaled and told his members to say “Yes” the next time they meet other artists. This made the rest of the boys laugh again. “This is the highlight of the day. ‘Yo,’ ‘Yes,’” Jin said.

After finally moving on from the topic, all the boys said that they wish to return to the Grammys next year. They also hoped to perform their own songs on the show.
