Prince William and Kate Middleton are in the center of divorce rumors once again. The new speculations that the royals marriage is on the rocks after they took separate cars on their way to the Queen's annual Christmas Lunch last month.
After photos of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge driving separate cars were shared online, some netizens began to wonder if there is a truth about the rumors claiming that their marriage is crumbling. The couple attended the event with their children -- Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. It could be a reason for them to take separate cars.
Nonetheless, this brought back to light the multiple divorce rumors about William and Kate last year. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been swamped with split rumors due to William's alleged affair with Rose Hanbury.
In April 2019, rumors began swirling that William had cheated on Kate with her close friend, Rose, the Marchioness of Cholmondeley. Apparently, Kate and Rose had a falling out after the Duchess of Cambridge found out that her husband and Rose have been having an affair for years.
But, the speculations did not stop there. The Globe also published a story that the Duchess of Cambridge collapsed over William's cheating scandal. The outlet reported that Kate became frailer as she barely eats and sleeps because of marital problems. This, allegedly, led her to collapse in the bathroom of her parents' home.
Then, Star claimed Kate has taken their three children and moved in with her parents in response to the future king's alleged affair. The publication further alleged that William told his wife that he felt like they were losing the spark in their marriage after he had an affair.
Gossip Cop debunked the rumors citing lawyers for Prince William who confirmed that these reports were just false speculations. Moreover, up to this day, no evidence emerged to confirm the affair rumors.
The Cambridges and Rose Hanbury and her husband, David, the 7th Marquess of Cholmondeley, remain as close friends. In fact, they were among the few people who were invited to Kate's 38th birthday earlier this month. They also attended several events last year including the royal dinner in honor of President Donald Trump's first state visit to the UK.
Since they got married in 2011, William and Kate are viewed as one of the most stable marriages in the royal family. The couple always shows a united front, up until today. The Cambridges are expected to take more royal duties after William's brother Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have stepped down as senior royals.
