Arrow series finale aired on Tuesday night, Jan. 28, on The CW, with the title "Fadeout." The story of Oliver Queen a.k.a. Green Arrow has come to an emotional end. The finale delivered heartwarming moments, flashbacks, and all of the things that defined the series over the past years.

During the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover events, Oliver sacrificed his own life to save the universe. In Arrow series finale, his heroic act brought back some of the people in his life who had died. For instance, Tommy is alive and we learned he and Laurel got married, but she died in this post-Crisis universe.

Moreover, Emiko, Moira, and Quentin are all alive -- thanks to Oliver. All of them got a second chance, which is enough to make Arrow series finale more emotional. Most of the characters got a happy ending, which only makes sense considering what they've been through over the past years.

Roy and Thea are getting married, while Rene runs for mayor. Meanwhile, Quentin's back with his two daughters, and Lyla and Diggle decided to move to Metropolis with their family. Oliver inspired a lot of people and although he didn't appear as much in the finale, he's still the star of the show.

Perhaps, the most awaited moment in Arrow series finale was Felicity and Oliver's reunion. She returned to pay her respect to her late husband and most of her scenes were sad. It's also heartbreaking when she said Oliver wouldn't get to see Mia grow up.

But, the final moment delivered one of the happiest scenes in the series' entire run. Arrow did not disappoint its viewers as it featured Oliver and Felicity's reunion. The Monitor took Felicity to see Oliver in the afterlife. There, Moira's office and a red pen were waiting for her.

Oliver then joined her and it felt like they were brought back in 2012; when their iconic relationship started. The two were finally at peace, away from the chaos. This is a satisfying ending for them, knowing that they get the happy ending that they deserve.

Meanwhile, Arrow series finale also teased John Diggle might become Green Lantern at some point. A box crashed into the Earth and when Diggle opened it, it emitted a green glow. As mentioned, Diggle is moving to Metropolis -- possibly to start a mission of his own.

Speaking with TVLine, Executive producer Marc Guggenheim said the Diggle reveal was something they've worked out over a year ahead with DC Entertainment. He didn't reveal further details and noted he couldn't say anything about what was showed since it would violate their agreement with DC.
