WARNING: This article contains spoilers for Arrow season 8 episode 6. Read at your own risk.
Arrow season 8 episode 6 will arrive next week, with the title "Reset." The CW series is preparing for the biggest Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover, with Oliver Queen trying to save multiple Earths from the impending doom. But, in the upcoming episode, he will be in trouble as he's facing a life or death situation.
In Arrow season 8 episode 6, Oliver finds out Lyla's betrayal and he discovers that she's not actually part of his plan. He finds himself in trouble and facing a life or death situation that's familiar to him after being cross-doubled by Lyla -- putting his life in jeopardy.
This is not the first time Oliver fights for his life; he always struggled to survive during his dangerous missions. However, in Arrow season 8 episode 6, he's in a difficult situation and will experience a bit of nostalgia since he's facing a familiar circumstance that could, perhaps, bring a past story and a heartache.
As for what else is coming in next week's episode, Laurel will have the opportunity to make things right with the past. Also, Flickering Myth shares some stills from the upcoming episode, teasing the return of Paul Blackthorne's character, Quentin Lance, a secret member of Team Arrow. Some photos show that he is working on something with Oliver and the team.
Lance is the mayor of Star City but died in season 6. Now, he's set to come back multiple-episode story arc before the series ends. His death left the team devastated, so it's interesting to see how they will react once they find out that one of their most memorable members returns.
Meanwhile, the promo of Arrow season 8 episode 8 is yet to be released. The clip is expected to arrive after the broadcast of this week's episode, titled "Prochnost." There are only two episodes left before the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover, so everything would start to build up from here before the much-awaited event happens.
Arrow season 8 episode 6 will air on Wednesday, Nov. 27, on The CW. The episode is directed by series star David Ramsey and written by Maya Houston and Onalee Hunter Hughes. Ramsey is not the first actor to direct an episode of Arrow, and this only shows that the actors in the series have expanded outwards, allowing them to be knowledgeable in other ventures.
