Batwoman episode 8 is still a few weeks away, but there are a lot of exciting happenings within this episode once it arrives. Titled "A Mad Tea-Party," the upcoming episode will see Alice plotting her most evil plan yet.

Ever since the series arrived, Kate Kane a.k.a. Batwoman's (Ruby Rose) conflict with her presumed-dead twin sister, Elizabeth Kane/Alice (Rachel Skarsten) was very apparent. Their family conflict became even more complicated over the previous episodes, with Alice and Mouse (guest star Sam Littlefield) now plotting their most evil plan yet in Batwoman episode 8.

The episode will see Alice doing everything she can to spread evil, and her plan may have something to do with the "tea party" that she's been teasing over the past weeks. It's unclear how she will construct her evil plan, yet, it's interesting to see how this would impact the character's arc, as well as her potential redemption in the series.

In an interview with TVLine, Skarsten was asked about Alice's redemption, and she isn't sure if her character is ready for that. The actress said she's surprised many viewers were rooting for Alice even though they haven't seen the more wounded side of her. While many are hoping to see her good side in the near future, Skarsten noted her redemption is still a "long way off."

She explained that Alice's redemption wouldn't happen anytime soon since the writers are having too much fun with her character being bad. Still, the redemption will eventually happen, especially since Alice becomes "Red Alice" in the comic. She's like a crime fighter/partner for Batwoman, and that may happen later on in the series.

As for what else is coming on Batwoman episode 8, Mary (Nicole Kang) invites Kate to come on a special event honoring Catherine (Elizabeth Anweis). Jacob's decision, on the other hand, leaves Kate perplexed. Camrus Johnson and Meagan Tandy also star in the series, while Holly Dale directed "A Mad Tea-Party," and written by Nancy Kiu.

Meanwhile, Batwoman episode 8 will be the last installment of the series before Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover. This is a five-night event that will also include other shows including Legends of Tomorrows, Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl. Showrunner Caroline Dries said earlier this year that the crossover event is important as she wants to keep the tone of the series in Gotham.

Batwoman episode 8 will air on Sunday, Dec. 1, on The CW.
