The Walking Dead season 10 episode 8 is set to arrive later this week, and this will be the final one before the AMC series heads on its midseason break. Titled "The World Before," the upcoming episode will see the Alexandrians mourning over the death of one of their biggest members, and will also feature plenty of actions among other characters.
The promo of The Walking Dead season 10 episode 8 starts with the Alexandrians gathering at Siddiq's (Avi Nash) funeral. He died after realizing that Dante (Juan Javier Cardenas) was part of the Whisperer, and the latter killed him before he could even spread the news to other Survivors.
Those who gathered at Siddiq's funeral are Rosita (Christian Serratos) and their baby, Daryl (Norman Reedus), and Carol (Melissa McBride). Dante wasn't present at the funeral, but the promo later revealed his whereabouts. While his image couldn't be seen, his voice can be heard saying: "None of this matter, but knowing that sets you free. Accept the future."
The trailer of The Walking Dead season 10 episode 8 then cuts to another scene, showing Dante sitting inside the infirmary. Daryl was also there, and he punched him on the face as soon as he stopped talking. The clip shifts to another scene, with Gamma (Thora Birch) and Aaron (Ross Marquand) meeting once again.
Gamma was wearing her flash mask and told Aaron that she has information for him. Before she could say anything, the promo shows another scene wherein Carol and Daryl were arguing whether or not they could trust Gamma. He asked her if she wants to trust a Whisperer now, but she answered: "You want to do nothing?"
The promo of The Walking Dead season 10 episode 8 also showed Judith (Cailey Fleming) slashing a running man's leg. Michonne (Danai Gurira) arrived at the scene, and Judith has stopped the unknown man in the community, named Virgil (Kevin Carroll).
As for what else is coming in this episode, the clip also showed Oceanside in trouble. Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) also visited Dante at the jail, while Alpha (Samantha Morton) seemed to be annoyed about something or someone.
The Walking Dead season 10 episode 8 will air on Sunday, Nov. 24, on AMC in the US. Meanwhile, UK-based viewers can watch the episode on Monday, Nov. 25, on FOX.
