Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal exit, reportedly, boosted Prince William and Kate Middleton's role in the monarchy. The Cambridges will be holding their first engagement after Brexit, revealing the will be focusing on local communities.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge announced their visit to the regions of the Mumbles and Port Talbot on Feb. 4. It would be the couple's first royal engagement after the United Kingdom leaves the European Union on Jan. 31.

In a post on their official social media account, Kensington Royal, it revealed that Prince William and Meghan Markle would "visit organizations and businesses at the heart of local communities." According to Express, Port Talbot is a community to the east of Swansea, while the Mumbles is a headland on Swansea Bay.

Their new engagement is just one of the few events that they will do on behalf of Queen Elizabeth II. They recently graced the Holocaust Memorial Day Commemorative Ceremony in Westminster as part of the worldwide celebration.

The event marked the 75th anniversary of the Auschwitz concentration camp liberation that drew together the members of the U.K.'s faith and political communities. Kensington Palace also released two portraits of the Holocaust survivors, taken by Kate Middleton herself, as part of the celebration.

As Prince William and Kate Middleton continue their royal engagements, royal expert Kate Nicholl said that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal exit gave them the boost. However, the commentator also claimed that the Duke of Sussex could have been secretly heartbroken.

Daily Mail reported that Kate Middleton and Prince William both received warm welcome during their recent royal engagement in Bradford. The Duchess of Cambridge even appeared a little extra when she arrived at Buckingham Palace with her husband for their first major joint engagement without Prince Harry.

Prince Harry, on the other hand, already returned to Canada to be with his family, Meghan Markle and eight-month-old son, baby Archie. Nicholl believed that the younger prince is only putting a brave face amid the heartbreak.

She told Ok! that the warm reception Prince William and Kate Middleton receive gave them a huge boost as they succeed to promote a united royal family. Alternatively, she suspected that Prince Harry is heartbroken with their royal exit. Knowing that he is a sensitive soul and a sweetheart, the past week must have been incredibly hard for him without his father, Prince Charles, and brother by his side.
