NCIS season 17 episode 15 is set to air on CBS within a few weeks, with the title "Lonely Hearts." This episode sees Nick Torres returns to work. He faced a life-and-death situation in the previous episode, but it seems like he's fully recovered now and ready to fill his duty again.
In some of the photos of the upcoming NCIS season 17 episode 15, it's apparent that Torres has recovered. It also looks like he's happy and back on the job as he was wearing his badge. Yet, it's a bit surprising to see him back immediately, considering he almost died in the previous episode.
But then, there's a chance NCIS season 17 episode 15 will have a time jump, giving Torres some time to heal from his injuries. The episode is possibly set a few weeks after the events in the previous episodes. Nick doesn't have any broken bones as well, which only suggests he's healed a weak or so.
Perhaps, one of the interesting things now is how Torres and Bishop's relationship will change after the hit-and-run incident. Its apparent Bishop cares for him a lot and she's even willing to commit murder; good thing Gibbs prevented it from happening.
In addition, Torres also did his best to protect Bishop from the hit-and-run. And although they aren't a romantic item as of the moment, the events it the previous episode already showed the two are getting closer than ever.
The episode will also be a Valentine's Day episode, meaning it would bring some romantic stuff along the way. For instance, Jack Sloan has a secret admirer. There's a chance it's a new love interest, or Gibbs probably considering the feelings he has towards her.
As for what else is coming, Gibbs' friend, Philip Brooks, returns. The team is investigating a case and the lead suspect is the murder investigation is the woman Philip met on a dating site. Gibbs' tend to keep things under wraps when it comes to his personal life, so will he keep Philip a secret as well?
Meanwhile, there is no new episode of NCIS airing on CBS next week. According to CarterMatt, no programs are airing on the network next week because of the State of the Union. Thus, viewers need to wait for less than two weeks before seeing the team back in the small screen.
