It has been weeks since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle flew back to Canada after announcing their plans to quit the royal life. While the Megxit deal was said to be effectively observed starting this spring, it seemingly appears that the Sussex couple is already busy pursuing their personal initiatives in the country.

Later this week, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared a post on their official Instagram account promoting the Canadian phone company, Bell over their mental health initiative, "Bell, Let's Talk." As noted by Express UK, this was the first time that the public heard from the couple after their royal exit earlier this month.

In the post, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shared that they are "happy" to support the company's campaign for mental health awareness. They then encouraged their followers to watch the campaign's video as this was said to benefit the country's mental health initiatives.

Per view of the video, Bell will reportedly donate five cents toward the said initiatives. So, they urged the public to "share" the video, to talk about the issue, and to "become part of the solution."

It is worth noting that the Sussex couple has been an advocate of mental health awareness since then. Accordingly, it is not surprising why their probable first business in Canada after the royal exit is in parallel with this advocacy.

No matter how good the cause is, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry received a huge "backlash" from the general public after their post on social media. As it happened, the couple received several criticisms because the Canadian phone company, Bell has been "blamed" for the death of a mentally-ill man, Cleve Geddes.

As per Daily Mail, Bell was slammed in 2017 for its role in the said death. It was shared that Cleve tried to use the phone company's service in prison during an "episode" of his illness. Unfortunately, his phone call to his family could not get through, which resulted in him hanging himself.

Cleve Geddes is a "paranoid schizophrenic," who had been arrested a week before the incident. It was revealed that the police were investigating threats, which were complained by his father. While he was supposed to be in a hospital for a psychiatric assessment, he was instead "thrown in with the wolves" because "there weren't enough beds in the facility."

Experts and commentators were said to share a few insights on the movements made by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. Based on assertions, the Sussex couple "should do research first" before "wading in." There is so much good that they could be doing instead of this, criminal lawyer, Michael Spratt commented.
