Meghan Markle has been receiving a lot of criticisms ever since she became the Duchess of Sussex. In fact, she even reportedly faced intense media and public scrutiny right after having a first few dates with the then-bachelor Prince Harry.

Recently, a new headline about the former actress has been making the scene. But, what made this dynamic quite surprising is that her father, Thomas Markle Sr., has been the one who is criticizing her.

As it happened, the Duchess' father spoke in an interview with Good Morning Britain. In his statements, he shared his thoughts about the Sussex couple's global warming campaigns.

According to Express UK, Meghan Markle's father, Thomas, was asked by Piers Morgan if he thinks that her daughter, as well as the Duke of Sussex, was "hypocritical." The reason being is that the young royal couple has been "urging" the public to pay attention to matters relating to global warming.

However, they, themselves, reportedly cannot practice what they preach. This comes after the headlines revealing that Meghan and Harry always utilize private jets, which are said to be huge contributors to global warming.

With these things at hand, Thomas Markle Sr. deemed that it is only "just." He also noted that if they are the ones who primarily "preach" about it, then they should set an example for everyone.

Thomas then said that Meghan Markle, along with Prince Harry, should take notes from their "brother," Prince William and take "public transportations, instead." This will make "more sense," he added.

After touching on the couple's global warming campaigns and issues, Meghan Markle's father then moved on to tackling the "alleged bullying" that the Duchess has been receiving in the last few years. Based on his statements, he does not believe that his daughter has been "singled out" by the media, especially in the United Kingdom.

Thomas blatantly shared that he is "having trouble buying" the narrative. He also revealed that Meghan has never experienced any problem with her race at all, and he has not noticed it as well in England.

He further shared that England is far more liberal than the United States in terms of races. Accordingly, he denies that Meghan Markle has been bullied in any way or shape, due to racism.

In a similar scoop released by Independent UK, it was revealed that the home secretary, Priti Patel also shared the same thoughts as Meghan's father. In her statements, she claimed that "Meghan has not faced" any form of racism from the media and the public. She then described Britain as a "great society," wherein she does not believe that there is racism at all.
