The first episode of Going Seventeen proved to be a strange one as it was simply titled 'Mystery Mystery' and was hosted by SEVENTEEN member DK. But what is the whole mystery about? The latest episode of the series still featured another food challenge for Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, Mingyu, The8, Dokyeom, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino. But this time, Lee Seokmin finally revealed the plot twist of the theme.

In the new episode of Going Seventeen, the silent meal challenge continued starting with Wonwoo. As previously reported, the members had to consume a full meal consisting of tteokguk (rice cake soup), galbi jjim (braised ribs), and young radish kimchi within an allotted time without going a pre-determined decibel level. Most of the lucky members were able to get several bites either before running out of time (like in Vernon's case) or going over the decibel level (which happened to Jun and Dino). Unfortunately for Hoshi and Woozi, they both went over the decibel level as they both reached for the chopsticks or bowl so they were not able to eat.

Interestingly, there was one final challenge that involved sikhye (sweet rice drink). However, not all of the glasses presented to the SEVENTEEN members contained the tasty beverage. Some of the glasses were actually filled with either vinegar or salt water and they had to be careful in choosing their glasses. Only Vernon, Dino, Wonwoo, Jun, and DK were able to get the real sikhye. However, Dokyeom later revealed that he actually got a vinegar drink and was just pretending to enjoy his beverage.

So what was the plot twist in the Going Seventeen episode? As it turns out, the title was not 'Mystery Mystery' but 'Mystery Mister Lee', referring to DK (Lee Seokmin). Dokyeom confirmed that the modulated voice giving the idols instructions was actually his own. In addition to that, he was supposed to know all of the good options in the challenges like getting five minutes to eat the full meal with a 1000 decibel level. Unfortunately, DK also forgot some of the hints that the producers had given him.

It became clear that DK forgot the instructions given to him by the producers during the sikhye challenge. It was revealed that he was trying to communicate non-verbally with the producer and trying to ask which glasses contained the sweet drink. Sadly, he wasn't able to remember and ended up getting a glass containing vinegar.

It's a hilarious conclusion for one of the most entertaining episodes of Going Seventeen. Needless to say, SEVENTEEN fans are already looking forward to the next episode.
