Princess Beatrice and fiancé Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have yet to announce their wedding date officially. The couple's wedding plans are reportedly repeatedly delayed with all the issues the royal family is suffering, and it makes the Princess of York furious.
Princess Beatrice has been reportedly putting off the announcement of her wedding date twice because of the royal scandals. Her father's, Prince Andrew, controversial link to the criminal sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal exit were the reasons why she had to cancel her planned announcements two times in a row.
However, according to The Sun, insiders revealed that Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are set to get married on May 29, while the reception will follow at Buckingham Palace. The wedding venue is yet to be revealed.
"The decision has been delayed repeatedly because of all the issues, but finally, they have something that seems to work - and barring any problems that should be when it goes ahead," the source explained. Queen Elizabeth II reportedly asked every member of the royal family to come together to put on a united front amidst the royal crises.
All the palaces' press officers reportedly hope to make Princess Beatrice's wedding as the big event that will bring the royal family back together again. Although the aides know it will be hard work, it is the only thing that they can do to save the wedding and the monarchy's reputation. The couple also reportedly plans to ask guests to donate to charitable institutions instead of giving gifts.
Earlier reports revealed Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi could be getting married at The Guard's Chapel. However, Daily Mail noted that only current serving members of the military and their direct descendants could use this as the venue of their wedding.
The chapel was said to be a perfect choice for the couple for being exclusive but not traditionally royal, add to that that the York's prominence in the royal family is in flux. It is also where Camilla and Andrew Parker-Bowles got married in 1973, although The Guard's Chapel is reportedly off Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's cards now.
Also, Business Times, recently, reported Queen Elizabeth gave Princess Beatrice a huge boost when she offered her to hold her wedding reception at Buckingham Palace. She was reportedly delighted and grateful to accept the offer, resulting in the first wedding celebration that would take place at the palace since Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding in 2011.
