Prince Harry is, currently, living in Canada with Meghan Markle and their son Archie. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are residing on a private mansion on Vancouver Island after they announced that they want to step back from being senior royals.
But, it seems that, even though this is the new life that Prince Harry is aiming for with his wife and son, the Duke of Sussex appears to be missing his usual life in the U.K., like having fun with his friends. A new report revealed that Meghan Markle’s husband has been using WhatsApp “more than ever” to contact his pals after moving to Canada.
"Harry misses his friends of course - anyone would,” the source said. “But he has been in WhatsApp Group with his mates for years and he uses that more than ever now to keep in touch and send pictures. The group are always sharing funny video clips they find as well. Harry doesn’t think being on the other side of the world means that he will lose touch with the people he has been mates with all his life."
Rumor has it that Prince Harry had “pushed aside” some of his friends after tying the knot with Meghan Markle in 2018. Earlier reports claimed that the Duke of Sussex’s move pulled him away from former close friends, including Guy Pelly and Tom and Lara Inskip.
Prince Harry’s childhood friend Tom Inskip, a.k.a. Skippy, reportedly, advised him to not marry Meghan Markle and was “banished” after that. As for Guy Pelly, an insider said that “It's all part of Meghan's quiet airbrushing out of Harry's old posse. She doesn't want temptation -- of any sort -- being put in his way while they concentrate on starting a family."
Both Skippy and Guy Pelly attended Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding. However, a source claimed that the Duke of Sussex gradually pulled back from his friends last month and most of them don’t know his mobile number anymore.
But, if the recent report is true, then, it debunked earlier speculations as Prince Harry is still in contact with his close pals through social media even though they are far away from one another.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could only live in Canada as visitors at the moment. So, there’s no need for a special visa to say in the country. However, this will only allow them to stay there for six months at a time.
