iKON's Song Yunhyeong and former After School member UEE were recently spotted by fans serving as part of the flight crew of Cebu Pacific, leading to speculation that the two idols are filming as new cast members of Channel A's new reality show Cabin Crew.
According to a report by All Kpop, following the success of the first season of Cabin Crew, the network renewed the show for a second season even while the first season was airing. It can be recalled that spotting of idols and celebrities serving as cabin crews of popular airlines started last year when images started to emerge on social media from fans.
Cabin Crew Season 1 featured Shin Hyun Joon and Hwang Je Seung and the second season is expected to feature Eun Ji Won of SECHSKIES, UEE and iKON's Yunghyeong.
Cabin Crew is a show that fulfills the dreams of celebrities who previously revealed that they wanted to become flight attendants if they did not become idols. However, apart from the glamor of traveling, they also go through rigorous training and job interviews that actual flight crew needs to complete before becoming full-fledged cabin crew members, reported Soompi.
Kpop fans who took Cebu Philippines flights recently also shared images of Ji Won who was wearing the airlines' uniform. Apart from Cabin Crew, Ji Won also appears as a regular cast member of Kang's Kitchen with Kang Ho Dong, Lee Soo Geun, Bloc B's PO, iKON's Song MINO, and Super Junior's Kyuhyun.
Ji Won will also be featured in an upcoming reality show about the everyday lives of SECHSKIES members after the group made a comeback as a four-member team with the album All for You.
"I can't promise when we will promote until. However, we will work hard. We are maintaining our team thanks to the members. Since our members are good with it, we are together whether we do well or not," he said during the press conference for the comeback album.
For her part, UEE has reportedly started preparing for her variety show appearance by improving her physical condition. She also does her own makeup and hairstyles while on the job as a flight attendant. Meanwhile, Yunheyong promised fans that he will show them a different side to him as he displays his ambitious side. He said that he and UEE will be known as the Passionate Siblings because of the commitment they will show in Cabin Crew.
