Better Call Saul season 5 is set to premiere later this month and fans are excited for the arrival of the series. AMC has been releasing some random videos about what to expect, making them even more excited. But aside from these clips, fans were also excited to see some familiar faces appearing in the series.
When Better Call Saul season 5 arrives, viewers will see a familiar face from Breaking Bad world. It has been confirmed that Dean Norris' Hank Schrader is coming for two episodes this season, especially since the series is now getting closer to the Breaking Bad timeline.
According to TVLine, Hank is going to appear in the third and fourth episode of Better Call Saul season 5. He and his trusty partner Steven Gomez (Steven Michael Quezada) are arriving in the mentioned episodes, where they'll be crossing paths with Jimmy a.k.a. Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk).
Aside from Hank and Gomez, the report also noted that they will encounter another familiar face from Breaking Bad. Thus, they will likely have a significant role in Better Call Saul season 5 and they're possibly part of a larger story as well.
Hank is Walter White's brother-in-law and he is one of the thorns in Albuquerque's drug industry. So, it's exciting to see him busting more criminals in the prequel. This is also a chance to explore the character more in detail, making his death more crushing.
Also, Robert Forster will, reportedly, reprise his role Ed Galbraith in the upcoming installment. The actor appeared in El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie in 2019, but passed away the time the movie was released. After the tragic news, AMC confirmed he'll "posthumously appear" in the latest season.
Meanwhile, Jimmy and Kim Wexler's (Rhea Seehorn) story is one of the driving forces of the series. Since Jimmy is becoming more Saul Goodman now, his relationship with Kim might change as well. She's there for him in whatever he's been through, but that would be different now due to some of Jimmy's choices.
Jimmy has to make a tough decision: whether or not he'll be better off becoming Saul Goodman. If ever he chose to become this person, things between him and Kim may be over. Also, Kim is going to question whether his choices are worth it or not.
Better Call Saul season 5 will premiere on Sunday, Feb. 23, at 10 PM on AMC. Following the premiere, the prequel will then air on Monday, Feb. 24, at 9 PM. This will possibly be the weekly schedules and regular timeslot this season.
