After months of waiting and speculating, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's wedding details have finally been ironed out. The couple, who got engaged in September 2019, are finally exchanging vows on May 29.

Princess Beatrice and Edo's wedding ceremony will take place at the Chapel Royal inside St. James Palace. According to Hello!, the York princess likely chose to get married on a Friday so as not to disrupt the scheduled hours of worships in the church and inconvenience its devotees.

Ever the private and quiet sister than Princess Eugenie, Princess Beatrice's wedding is going to be large nor filled with fanfare. In fact, the Chapel Royal can only seat 150 people, per Vanity Fair.

Following the ceremony, Princess Beatrice and Edo will move their wedding party inside Buckingham Palace's gardens. Queen Elizabeth offered to host the reception for her granddaughter and it will be the first time since 2011 that the venue will hold a royal wedding.

Sources said that the Queen's gift to the couple were not enjoyed by Prince Harry and Meghan nor Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank when they got married in 2018. The last time Buckingham Palace had a wedding reception was for Prince William and Kate's royal event.

Meanwhile, The Telegraph confirmed that Prince Andrew will be walking his eldest daughter down the aisle. Princess Beatrice also chose not to have her wedding televised by any network thus the Duke of York's presence won't likely court so much attention and criticisms. Princess Beatrice and Edo's wedding, however, will be covered in standard news programs in the U.K.

Princess Eugenie may be Princess Beatrice's Maid of Honor. Though the wedding entourage was not revealed, royal fans speculated that the younger York princess could have this special role based on a throwback photo she recently posted on Instagram featuring her and her sister as little bridesmaids. Incidentally, Princess Beatrice was also Princess Eugenie's Maid of Honor.

In lieu of giving wedding gifts, the couple are asking their wedding guests to learn about two charities close to their heart: Big Change and Cricket Brings Hope. Princess Beatrice established and founded Big Change several years ago with some of her friends to help with young people's education. Cricket Brings Hope is Edo's advocacy to use the game of cricket to bring positive social changes in Rwanda.
