It has been a month now since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced that they are stepping down as senior members of the British Royal Family. While the deal of their exit will be effective in April, it seemingly appears that they have already started living a private life outside the United Kingdom.

After the conclusion of the Megxit "crisis talk," the Duke of Sussex flew back to Canada to reunite with his wife and son. From then on, no further updates were given to the public as to how they were doing in their Vancouver Island home.

Based on reports, the couple's royal exit became widely controversial since they are the first royals from their generation to "abdicate" from their positions in the monarchy. Also, it became surprising to everyone, especially the senior royals as it was reported that no one knows about the matter until the day Meghan Markle and Prince Harry posted their "bombshell" announcement on social media.

While Queen Elizabeth II finally gave her blessing to the Sussex couple after a few days of "internal discussions" at the Sandringham Estate, the monarch shared in her statement that she, along with the rest of the family, would "prefer" for them to stay and continue with their responsibilities as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

This only goes to show that the members of the family themselves are not entirely in favor of their withdrawal. But, recent reports claimed that there is one person from the couple's family that felt "relieved" toward their exit.

According to Express UK, several sources revealed that Meghan Markle's mother, Doria Ragland, is "relieved" and happy that her daughter, as well as her son-in-law, chose to pursue their personal passions. It was also claimed that the Duchess' mother had been "worried" over her daughter's mental health and "well-being" during her stay in the United Kingdom.

The publication also referenced Meghan's alleged statements that she was "beginning" to find the royal living as "soul-crushing." So, as a mother, it is only understandable why she would feel relieved that her daughter has now stepped away from the things that were causing her "stresses" and struggles.

Marie Claire also stated that Doria Ragland recently "insisted" that Meghan Markle will be "okay" despite living a life far from the royal family. She was said to also commend her daughter for the braveness she displayed throughout the controversy.

The same was also said to be true for Prince Harry. As per assertions, Doria Ragland and the Duke of Sussex share a "close relationship" with each other. It was even reportedly previously that the Duchess' mother had been the "rock" of the couple, especially the royal-born Prince during the transition of their exit.
