But unlike Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Prince William and Kate Middleton are not turning their backs on being senior royals. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are just slowing down their royal engagements during Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s half-term break in school.
Just like most parents do, Prince William and Kate Middleton typically take a break from work so they can spend more time with their children. This is also a good time for one-year-old Louis to have some fun time with his older siblings.
During the school vacation, Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their kids often escape to their country home. However, there is still no official update as to where the family will be spending their week off.
Meanwhile, earlier reports revealed that Prince George and Princess Charlotte are very close. In fact, the four-year-old looks up to her big brother a lot and "can't wait" to be at “big school” with him.
"She can't wait to be with George at big school,” a source said. “She is so excited about it all. They are close in age, and they spend so much time together. Playdates [with outsiders] can be tricky, so they learn to lean on each other."
As for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son Archie, a previous report revealed that the public has seen him before Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis did. Royal correspondent Emily Andrews said that Archie only met two of his cousins, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, at the King Power Royal Charity Polo Match in Wokingham two months after he was born.
But then a report claimed that Archie could grow up close to Prince William and Kate Middleton. According to the AstroTwins, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have similarities with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son based on their astrological signs.
But as of the moment, it appears that Archie doesn’t have a close relationship with Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Earlier this month, Royal commentator Angela Mollard predicted that Archie will grow up to become a spoiled brat if the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are keeping him away from his cousins.
“Is Archie growing up seeing Charlotte, George, and Louis? They’re clearly not because they’re having no connection with them,” she said in a podcast. “I hope that they can resolve it. Otherwise, Archie will become one of those spoilt brat children, won’t he? You need to knock around with your cousins.”
