The latest word from Germany indicated that if Klopp is serious on his plan to add the 23-year-old Werner to his already vaunted strike force, he has to make a move and quickly. It turned out that the goalscorer's current asking is connected to a release clause that will become invalid in April.
When the clause expires, Leipzig will have the free hand to increase the selling price of Werner and there is no telling how high the cost will be after April.
